Payment of Fee and Refund Policy

Details of course-wise fee to be paid in two installments, the 1st Installment at the time of admission and the 2nd installment by 30th November 2011 are given.

The candidate shall be required to deposit 1st installment of the fee on the spot, at the time of physical counseling for admission through demand draft payable in favour of “Manav Rachna College of Engineering” drawn at an RBI approved Bank and payable at Faridabad. Payment through cheques shall not be accepted. If a candidate fails to deposit 1st installment of the fee on the spot immediately after offer of a seat in particular programme / course of study, he / she will lose the opportunity and the seat shall be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list.

Candidates may withdraw their admission by submitting an application in writing to the Director-Principal for which they must obtain an acknowledgement. The fee deposited by such candidates shall be refunded after deducting Rs 1000/- provided the candidate has applied for withdrawal of admission before the start of classes. In such cases, the refund of fee shall be made within 30 days from the submission of application through demand draft / cheque in favour of the candidate only and sent at the address for correspondence through recorded delivery.

In case, Candidates withdraw their admission after start of classes, the refund of fee shall be made as per norms laid down by HSCS/ AICTE.

A student admitted in the College shall be required to pay fee for the entire duration of the course on annual basis in two installments.  If a student is detained due to whatsoever reason, he / she shall be required to pay the fee again, when he / she is readmitted. It is made clear that if a student leaves the programme / course of study in between, without completing the programme for whatsoever reasons, he / she will be liable to pay fees for the balance duration of the programme as well, as per directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Islamic Academy of Education case.
