Minimum Eligibility Criteria

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR B.TECH PROGRAMMES

Should have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum 65% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:

(a) Chemistry (b) Bio-Technology  (c) Computer Science  (d) Biology

MINIMUM  ELIGIBILITY  CRITERIA / ACADEMIC  QUALIFICATIONS AND ORDER OF PREFERENCE FOR M.TECH PROGRAMMES

M.TECH. IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING :

(a)      First preference will be given to candidate having B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg / Computer Engg./ Information Technology / MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in Computer Engg.

(b)      Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engg/ Electrical Engg. / M.Sc. Computer / M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in Computer Engg.

(c) Third preference will go to B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg. / M.Sc. Computer / M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT/M.Sc. Software/M.Sc. Maths, M.Sc. Statistics and M.Sc. Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in respective branches.

(d) Fourth preference will go to B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg./M.Sc. Computer/M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT/M.Sc. Software/M.Sc. Maths, M.Sc. Statistics and M.Sc. Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without GATE score.

(e) A whole-time teacher working in the College recognized by the University in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology may also join this course as a part-time student such as to fulfillment of any of the conditions laid   down in Clause (a), (b), (c) & (d) above. Such part-time students shall be allowed to offer not less than two and not more than three papers in regular semester examination.

•    M.TECH. IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING:

(a)      First preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engg/Production Engg/Automobile Engg or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score.

(b)      Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without valid GATE score.

(c)      A whole-time teacher working in the College recognized by the University in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology may also join this course as a part-time student such as to fulfillment of any of the conditions laid down in Clause (a) & (b) above. Such part-time students shall be allowed to offer not less than two and not more than three papers in regular semester examination.

MINIMUM  ELIGIBILITY  CRITERIA / ACADEMIC  QUALIFICATIONS FOR MCA PROGRAMME:

Should have minimum 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.

OR

Should have minimum 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects.

OR

Should be a pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR MBA PROGRAMME:

Should have minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

OR

Pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR B.TECH-LEET-2ND YEAR (3RD SEMESTER)

Should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering & Technology of three years duration or more with minimum 60% marks in aggregate, from an AICTE Approved Institution.
