Should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 65% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:-

(a) Chemistry (b) Biotechnology (c)  Biology (d) Computer Science

Note: A relaxation of 5% shall be given in the minimum eligibility to girl candidates and candidates belonging to SC category.

Admission on the basis of marks scored in JEE Mains 2013 and class XII normalized board score (weightage 60 :40) (1^st preference)

and qualifying examination (2^nd preference).

B Tech Lateral Entry (CSE, ECE, IT & ME)

For Diploma & B Sc students

3 Years

(i)        Should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering & Technology of three years duration or more with minimum 60% marks in aggregate, from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent.

(ii)       Should have passed B Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.

• Provided that in case of students belonging to B Sc stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects.
• Provided further that the students belonging to B Sc stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.

(iii)       Provided further that students, who have passed

(iv)       Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved institution or B Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission on the basis of Merit of Online Entrance  Test-OLET (LEET)- 2013 to be conducted by HSTES (1^st preference) and marks scored in Qualifying Examination (2^nd preference)

M.TECH. IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING

2 years

(a)                First preference will be given to candidate having B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science & Engg / Computer Technology/ /Information Technology / MCA with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in Computer Engg.

(b)        Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engg/ Electrical Engg. / M.Sc. Computer / M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT with minimum             60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in Computer Engg.

(c)        Third preference will go to B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg. / M.Sc. Computer / M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT/M.Sc. Software/M.Sc.             Maths, M.Sc. Statistics and M.Sc. Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score in respective branches.

(d)       Fourth preference will go to B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics Engg., Electrical Engg./M.Sc. Computer/M.Sc. Electronics, M.Sc. IT/M.Sc. Software/M.Sc.Maths, M.Sc. Statistics and M.Sc. Physics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without GATE score.

Note: A relaxation of 5% shall be given in the minimum eligibility to girl candidates and candidates belonging to SC category.

M.TECH. IN ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING:

2 years

(a)        First preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and with valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

(b)        Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Instrumentation Control/ Instrumentation & Control/Electrical Instrumentation & Control/ Instrumentation & Control/ Instrumentation Engineering/Control Engineering/Electronics Engineering with mimimum 60% marks or equivalent in aggregate alongwith valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

(c)               Third preference will be given to the disciplines as indicated in (b) above but with valid GATE score in respective branches.

(d)               Fourth preference will be given to BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without GATE score.

(e)                Fifth preference will be given to the disciplines as indicated in (b) above but without GATE score.

M.TECH. IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING:

2 years

(a)                First preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engg/Production             Engg/            Automobile Engg or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and valid GATE score.

(b)               Second preference will be given to B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg with minimum 60% marks or equivalent and without valid GATE score.

Note: A relaxation of 5% shall be given in the minimum eligibility to girl candidates and candidates belonging to SC category.

MCA

3 Years

Should have minimum 55% marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.

OR

Should have minimum 55% marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with Mathematics / Statistics as one of the subjects.

OR

Should be a pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks

Admission on the basis of the Merit of Online Entrance Test-OLET (MCA) 2013 conducted by HSTES (1^st preference) and marks scored in Qualifying Examination (2^nd preference)

MBA

2 years

Should have minimum 55% marks in Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

OR
Pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of

Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of

1. CMAT score September 2012 or February 2013
2. Group Discussion and Personal Interview : to be conducted by the Department of Business Administration, MRCE.
