The Department prepares students for industrial life as well as for further specialization. It develops ability to synthesize data and technical concepts to do product design. For this, the required scientific and engineering fundamentals are provided. Since the complexity of modern mechanical engineering is very high, students are trained to work as team members, and also to relate to the impact of mechanical engineering on modern life. The department strives to provide students with an academic environment for excellence, leadership qualities, ethical behavior and life long learning.
