Therefore, the department emphasizes analytic, design and synthesis skills together with customer and requirements orientation. Since IT engineers man sensitive positions where security, confidentiality etc. are very important, students are sensitized to be ethically and socially responsible professionals. The department attempts to inculcate in its students respect for life long learning so as to be prepared for changes in their working life.
